    City of Boise Public Works

    Gabe Brenner is the Programs Coordinator for commercial solid waste initiatives with the City of Boise’s Curb It team, overseeing programs that serve business, industrial, and multi-family sectors. A graduate of Western Washington University with a degree in Business and Environmental Sustainability, Gabe takes a holistic approach to waste management, integrating environmental stewardship with practical business solutions. With eight years of industry experience, Gabe began his career at Recology King County in Seattle, Washington, before transitioning to local government in Boise. He is passionate about advancing Boise’s circular economy and developing innovative strategies to divert landfill-bound materials. He works closely with the business community to strengthen waste reduction efforts, enhance resource recovery, and promote a cleaner, greener future for the city. Beyond his professional role, Gabe serves as Vice President of the Boise Metro Chamber's Leadership Boise program and exploring Boise's neighborhoods on bike.
