Kingsella leads policy research and development for Up for Growth, and previously served as Executive Director of Oregon Smart Growth.     Kevin Cablik

    CK Property Group, LLC

    Kevin has 15 years of construction experience, he is highly motivated, and an educated leader within the construction industry and community. Kevin’s experience consists of residential, multi-family, commercial & highway construction. Projects include tunnels, bridges, high rise buildings, power plants, professional stadiums, mixed-use, and retail developments. Kevin strongly believes successful project implementation is achieved with diligent communication, organization and accountability. He is passionate about architecture, city planning and in-fill or urban projects.

    Anne Wescott

    President, Galena Consulting

    As President of Galena Consulting, Anne Wescott supports local governments in achieving best practices in service delivery through strategic, operational and capital planning; performance measurement and management; budget and policy analysis; fiscal sustainability analysis; project facilitation and change management; and the development of impact fee programs. Since 2002, Galena Consulting has supported over 75 cities, counties, special districts and non-profit organizations in Idaho, Utah, Colorado and Wyoming, many on multiple projects. Ms. Wescott serves on the Ada County Highway District Capital Improvement Citizens Advisory Committee and holds a master's degree in Public Administration from University of Utah.

    AnaMarie Guiles

    City of Boise Planning & Development Services

    AnaMarie Guiles is senior manager for the City of Boise’s Housing and Community Development Division which works to provide housing choice and innovative models of community development. Guiles has 20 years’ experience in Affordable Housing and Community Development in the State and Municipal government level. Most recently, Guiles was a co-founder of the City of Boise’s Energize Our Neighborhood initiative, a pioneering and comprehensive model to preserve neighborhood livability. Before her work with the City of Boise, Guiles started her career in federal law enforcement where a deep understanding of societal challenges began. Guiles received a Bachelor of Science from the University of Portland and completed graduate work in Performance Management at Boise State University.

    Mike Kingsella

    Chief Executive Officer, Up for Growth

    Mike Kingsella is the Executive Director of Up for Growth, a diverse coalition of housing and social justice advocates, environmental organizations, housing producers, major employers, urbanists and transit associations joining forces to address our nationwide housing shortage. Up for Growth provides an expert forum to advance public discourse and promote innovative solutions to the housing crisis. Mike leads all elements of Up for Growth’s operations, including policy research and development, strategic communications, stakeholder outreach, and federal, state and local advocacy efforts. Prior to launching Up for Growth, Mike founded and served as Executive Director of Oregon Smart Growth, the first statewide affiliate of Smart Growth America’s LOCUS coalition of responsible developers and investors. Oregon Smart Growth represents more than 40 developers, investors, and development industry firms that support state and local policy enabling and promoting development of dense, walkable, sustainable neighborhoods. Mike is an expert in urban development and housing policy with over 15 years of experience in housing, commercial real estate investment, capital markets and asset management. He has a Bachelor of Science in Community Development and Real Estate Development from the Toulan School of Urban Studies and Planning at Portland State University in Portland, Oregon.

    Vanessa Fry

    Director, Idaho Policy Institute/Boise State University

    Vanessa is Research Director and Assistant Research Professor at the Idaho Policy Institute (IPI) at Boise State University. She also serves as Adjunct Faculty Member at Presidio Graduate School in San Francisco. Vanessa has focused both her work and education on utilizing multi-sector, evidenced-based solutions to address persistent social, environmental, and economic issues. At IPI Vanessa has led projects focusing on a number of issues including education, workforce development, transportation, and housing and homelessness. Vanessa holds a BA in Biology and Fine Art from Wittenberg University, an MBA from Presidio Graduate School, and a PhD in Public Policy and Administration from Boise State University.
