PROFESSIONAL EXPERTISE Andrea Nilson is an Executive Director and Principal with Summit Commercial Real Estate Group specializing in Retail & Capital Markets focusing on retail transactions in Idaho as well as surrounding markets. Andrea has over 24 years of commercial real estate experience. She started her career with Albertsons in the Pharmacy Business Development Department later moving to the surplus real estate department as Surplus Real Estate Manager where she was responsible for real estate dispositions totaling more than 9 million square feet. Prior to becoming a retail broker, Nilson functioned as the Vice President of Acquisitions for Heslin Becker Properties, a premier development company based in Southern California. In the last 24 years, Andrea has been a retailer, a developer and a broker which gives her insight to every side of a transaction in the retail sector. Andrea is an expert at new site selection, relocation opportunities, as well as disposition of non-producing retail assets. Nilson has substantial experience in managing property transactions, negotiating contracts and creating facility-specific programs.

Julie’s primary focus is Tenant Representation for current and prospective clients. Julie was drawn to commercial real estate by the continuous opportunity to learn and grow in the industry, as well as the opportunity to build and maintain relationships with her and her teammates clientele. Her enthusiasm for learning has helped her to understand the demanding requirements behind finishing a deal effectively and efficiently whether it be leasing, disposition of property, or investment sales. Julie works alongside two colleagues on one of The Treasure Valley’s top performing retail teams.

LeAnn Hume is an Executive Director and Principal with Summit Commercial Real Estate Group specializing in Retail & Capital Markets focusing on retail transactions in Idaho as well as surrounding markets. LeAnn began her career in March of 1998 to help start the fuel center department within the Albertsons real estate department where she handled 5 states and negotiated dozens of new fuel center deals over a 4 year period. She continued her career with Movie Gallery as a Real Estate Manager handling 5 western states including Utah, California and Nevada. LeAnn opened 18 stores in her first 18 months at Movie Gallery. In 2006, having successfully navigated both the Landlord and the Tenant side of the business, LeAnn began her commercial brokerage career and founded the Cushman & Wakefield office in Boise in 2012. LeAnn served as the managing director, designated broker and top producer until her departure in January of 2024 to start Summitt Commercial Real Estate Group with her amazing partners, Andrea Nilson and Julie Kissler.
