    Boise, the city and businesses together, are leaders in building sustainable city infrastructure that represent climate action by cleaning the air, water & reducing urban heat; all while creating vibrant spaces for residential and retail growth. Join us to learn how, through a collaborative stakeholder-driven effort, local businesses invested in revitalizing the Broad Street festival corridor that blends new development with retention of historic homes and landscapes.

    Featured speakers include:
    Idaho Smart Growth and City Council President Elaine Clegg
    Lance Davisson with Treasure Valley Canopy Network
    Tom Charters, Urban Forestry Products
    Jeff Slinger, Andersen Construction
    Peter Stegner, Riley-Stegner & Associates
    Jim Otradosky, Jorge Basulto & Mandi Brozo from CSHQA

    We will have several stops along Broad Street in Downtown Boise: Mother Earth Brewing, Boise Brewing, The Warehouse.

    Three key aspects of nature based planning and building solutions will be explored during our walking / biking tour along Broad Street:

    (1) How weaving an infrastructure of greenspace makes our city healthy and cool!;
    (2) A vision for mass timber construction opportunities in the Treasure Valley, learning from the Idaho Central Credit Union Basketball Arena at University of Idaho;
    (3) How our urban forests are finding new life at the tabletops of eateries & breweries across our region.

    Special thanks to our partners that co-sponsored this program: Grove Realty, TVCN and CSHQA - Thank you!
