Roelof Opperman is a Managing Director at Fifth Wall, where he focuses on investments in technology and innovations within all real estate asset classes. Roelof led Fifth Wall’s investments in Hippo, Eden, Appear Here, Lyric, Industrious, Loggi, Honest Networks, Recharge, Lime, and Aurora Solar. He is Co-Chair of the ULI Europe Technology and Real Estate Product Council and a member of the ULI UK Executive Committee. Previously, Roelof worked at Norwest Venture Partners, Evercore Partners, Goldman Sachs, and Bridgewater Associates. Roelof is originally from Johannesburg, South Africa, and graduated Phi Beta Kappa, magna cum laude, from Emory University. He is also a Chartered Financial Analyst.

Coen aims to radicalize sustainability through powerful innovations and seeks to effect further change in infrastructure and urban development, while drawing inspiration from global leaders. Galvanized by a meeting with Al Gore and his climate change documentary ‘An Inconvenient Truth’, Coen became convinced of the green promise of untapped technologies, making it the company’s mission to deliver new standards of tech-driven responsible urban office development. To bring his vision for a better world forward in the built environment, Coen is Young Global Leader mentor of the Amsterdam Hub of Global Shapers, Co-Chair of the Real Estate Governors at the World Economic Forum, Member of the European Council on Foreign Relations and on the Board of the Urban Land Institute Europe.
