The Urban Land Institute (ULI) Idaho District Council announces the recent appointment of Danielle Hurd as its Chair, effective July 2019 through June 2021.
Hurd, Executive Director of the American Institute of Architects for the Northwest and Pacific Region, will be the council’s first woman chair.
With a professional background in business development, design and architecture, Hurd has been an active member of ULI since 2008. In 2017, she co-launched the Women’s Leadership Initiative (WLI) in Idaho. She also has served in community roles for the Idaho Commission on the Arts, Preservation Idaho, Garden City Arts Commission, and USGBC Idaho, and is a WELL Accredited Professional.
As incoming Chair, Hurd will lead the District Council Management Committee which includes Clay Carley, Jeremy Malone, Matt Blandford, Hilary Vaughn, Stacey Alexander, Karena Gilbert, Jessica Kay Durham, Laura Williams, Scott Schoenherr, and Christopher Colin Dwyer.
