    Ivan Sim is the Director of Corporate Services for Idaho Power Company. In his role he provides leadership and strategic oversight over Idaho Power Company’s Corporate Real Estate (CRE), Supply Chain, and Shared Services. The CRE organization includes skilled teams managing functions including Survey, Land Management & Permitting, Land Acquisition, and Facilities Management.  The Supply Chain organization’s talented team manages Procurement, Contracting, Inventory Management, Materials and Logistics, and Quality functions providing goods and services in support of the company’s diverse needs.  Idaho Power’s service area encompasses approximately 24,000 square miles including Idaho and parts of Eastern Oregon.

    Most recently prior to joining Idaho Power Company, Ivan was the Director of Real Estate for Vitamix Corporation during an exciting time of hyper-growth and international expansion plans for the high-end consumer appliance manufacturer.  He previously spent nearly 12 years in Chicago, IL working for a professional services firm as a Senior Manager, deeply involved in opening of new offices across key domestic and overseas markets. Additionally, having grown up in Hawaii, he spent several years in leadership roles in the hospitality business including operations, sales, and food and beverage.  This unique combination and extensive experiences are leveraged every day to help shape his perspectives and approach to the challenges of business.

    Ivan earned his undergraduate degree from the University of Hawaii and is currently pursuing his Executive MBA from Boise State University.  He was also fortunate to attend the prestigious Utility Executive Course at the University of Idaho in 2017.
