Andy Warren, Director of Real Estate Research for PwC, will keynote with a detailed presentation on the Emerging Trends in Real Estate 2021 report. Held virtually, this event will also examine trends seen throughout the State of Idaho in residential, industrial, commercial and hospitality sectors.

    Taylor Woodbury

    Woodbury Corporation

    E. Taylor Woodbury serves as the chief operating officer of Woodbury Corporation and on the company’s board of directors. In addition to his administrative responsibilities he is involved with various departments in the company, including accounting, finance, development and legal. Prior to his current position, he was the corporate treasurer and oversaw all enterprise cash management. Mr. Woodbury is active in the real estate development and investment activities of Woodbury Corporation, and is a principal in the management of Woodbury’s private equity funds and the project manager of the Falcon Hill Aerospace Research Park at Hill AFB in Utah.

    Carrie Westergard

    Executive Director, Boise Convention and Visitors Bureau

    Carrie Westergard is the Executive Director of the Boise Convention & Visitors Bureau, a position she has held for over five years. She has been in the travel industry for over 25 years, most of which have been in Idaho. Westergard is responsible for overseeing, planning and directing the operations and programming for the Boise CVB, whose mission is to enhance Boise’s economy through the marketing, promotion and selling of the city and region as a site for conventions, corporate meetings, trade shows, leisure travel, cultural, sports and special events. Under Westergard’s leadership, the Boise CVB has drawn larger conventions and more sporting events than ever in the city’s history and is often featured in national press.

    Michael Adler

    Adler Industrial, LLC

    As President and CEO of Adler Industrial, LLC and Adler Realty Investments, Inc., Mr. Adler is actively involved in a broad spectrum of real estate investment and development projects. His market insight, analysis and leadership skills enable his companies to consistently exceed market returns on their investments. Adler Industrial, Inc. is a real estate management and development company based in Boise, Idaho, and is the dominate industrial property owner and developer in the market. Adler Industrial owns and operates eighty properties in the Boise market consisting of 2.5 million square feet of existing industrial buildings and 400+ acres of land for future development. With a focus on Class “A” industrial properties, the company provides a wide range of solutions to meet the needs of industrial space users in the market. Adler Industrial is a sister company of Adler Realty Investments, a firm established in 1996, with over $1 billion in properties acquired or in development since inception. Adler’s real estate portfolio currently consists of over 4 million square feet of existing industrial, office, retail, and multi-family residential properties and an additional 3 million square feet of projects in planning or development throughout the western United States. Mr. Adler is a graduate from the University of Denver with a degree in Business Administration, majoring in Real Estate and Finance. He obtained a MAI designation from the Appraisal Institute, and a CPM designation from the Institute of Real Estate Management. Mr. Adler is also a member of the Urban Land Institute and holds an Idaho General Contractor’s License.

    Kathryn Almberg

    Vice President, Director of Operations, The Housing Company

    Kathryn has been with IHFA and The Housing Company since 2001. As Vice President and Director of The Housing Company she oversees all aspects of the company including development, property management and accounting. Prior to becoming Vice President and Director at The Housing Company, she was involved in real estate development - from acquisitions and due diligence, financing, resource and grant applications, to project-team hiring, coordination and construction. She has more than 30 years of experience in finance and real estate development in Idaho, California, Nevada and Montana, doing land development and building properties that range from apartments to business parks, office buildings and big box stores. She has successfully completed difficult to develop projects including historic rehabilitation and adaptive reuse using a variety of diverse and complicated financing resources. Kathryn serves on the Ada County Historic Preservation Council.

    Andy Warren

    Director, Real Estate Research, PricewaterhouseCoopers GmbH WPG.

    Andrew Warren, Andy, currently serves as the PwC’s Director of Real Estate Research. As the Director of Real Estate Research, and is responsible for monitoring all aspects of commercial and residential real estate, including space market fundamentals, capital market trends, regulatory changes and operational developments. For the past seven years, Andy has led PwC’s participation in the development and production of the Emerging Trends in Real Estate publication. Andy is a frequent speaker on issues affecting the real estate market and has also authored numerous articles for internal clients and national real estate publications. Andy also forecasts market performance for PwC’s “Real Estate Investor Survey”. Andy has over 30 years of experience in all aspect of commercial and residential real estate research. Andy has performed and managed real estate fundamental analysis and forecasting, portfolio construction, and buy/sell decisions for both debt and equity clients. Prior to assuming his current role, Andy served as the Managing Director of Real Estate Research for Principal Global Investors, a top 10 institutional real estate manager in the U.S. At Principal, Andy held a progressive level of analyst and management positions over his 25 year career and served as a voting and advisory member on a multiple real estate debt and equity investment funds. Andy has earned the CFA designation and is a Counselor of Real Estate. He is also an active member of the Urban Land Institute Research Forum as well as a participating member of ICSC, NCREIF, NAIOP, the Appraisal Institute and the CCIM institute.
